In recent years, control bodies have made increasingly stringent changes to the atmospheric emissions authorizations (Aua) of industries.
Ecochimica is able to supply specific products for the reduction of dangerous substances from fumes such as fluorides, chlorides, sulphides.
The most used product and the basis of fume treatment systems is hydrated lime, (also known as calcium hydrate, slaked lime or calcium hydroxide).
Its function, in addition to safeguarding the sleeves of the filtration system, is to correct and neutralize the pH of the fumes, breaking down acid molecules, especially fluorides.
The lime is supplied in bulk by tanker or in sachets/big bags depending on the customer’s plants.

Traditional bag filtration systems with the addition of hydrated lime are not always sufficient to reduce the load of substances.
During the cooking phase, when solvents, fatty acids, surfactants and other chemical ingredients are used, fumes that are extremely full of pollutants can be obtained.
These fumes must be treated with different technologies to completely reduce the substances and avoid dirtying the pipes and devices that make up the fume treatment system with sludge.
Furthermore, our products have been developed to optimize the functioning of the bag filters present and in the event of afterburners, maintenance interventions can be reduced by eliminating sludge and encrustations and discoloring the fumes coming out of the chimney.
The products of the MPF family are mixtures based on absorbent, reactive products, micronized bicarbonate capable of correcting and neutralizing the pH of the fumes which are then sent to subsequent passages such as sleeve filters, filter beds, activated carbon MPF products break down VOCs, volatile organic compounds, Hcl hydrochloric acid, sulfur dioxide SO2, sulfur oxides SOx, hydrofluoric acid HF, dioxins, heavy metals and furans.
